LS Transplant Cog Drive Supercharger Kits

The LS Transplant Cog Drive Kit can be used in both carbureted and EFI applications and is compatible with accessories such as A/C and P/S, making the kit race-rugged while still maintaining excellent street driveability. The patented and proven lineup of ProCharger superchargers features self-contained oiling, so there is no need for an external oil line and can be matched with a wide range of intercooler options.

In addition to the rugged, 50 mm-wide cog drive belt, the Cog Drive Kit includes a ProCharger race bypass valve. The new ProCharger Competition Carb Bonnet is also available for that ultimate finishing touch for The Ultimate Power Adder under the hood of your LS transplant project.

Since the debut of the ProCharger LSx Engine Transplant Supercharger Kits at the December 2008 AETC and Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Orlando, FL, the Engineering and R&D Teams at ProCharger have been working hard to expand the product offerings for this rapidly growing segment of the performance aftermarket. Today, we are proud to introduce an expanded lineup of ProCharger Supercharger Kits, for both Serpentine and Cog Drive Race setups, and available with or without intercooling for injected or carbureted engines.

With experience from more than 10 years of LS-forced induction leadership, these ProCharger LSx Supercharger Kits provide outstanding power gains on both stock and modified LSx engines and will certainly make your LS transplant project stand out on the track or at the show.

Unlike ProCharger’s many vehicle-specific systems, the LS-transplant supercharger kits are not 100% complete or turn-key (tuning required, at a minimum), since they were designed for an engine, not a specific vehicle. However, these ProCharger kits have been test-fitted into the following cars: 1966-72 GM A-body (Chevelle, GTO, etc.), 1968-72 Chevrolet Nova, 1968-81 GM F-body (Camaro/Firebird). For other vehicles, kit dimensions are provided in the links at right.

Advanced Design
The patented SC design eliminates the need for oil lines and punching a hole in the oil pan. Additionally, instead of being forced to utilize heated engine oil or the grease in sealed bearings, SC ProChargers are lubricated with an extremely high quality synthetic oil which is specifically engineered for high speed use, and produces the least frictional heat and parasitic load. The self-contained design not only eliminates the heat that is transferred to a supercharger by engine oil in oil-fed applications, it also avoids the risk of clogged supercharger oil lines, oil drainage problems, or engine oil leakage.
