    Utilizing the patented and proven, self-contained ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger making 8.5 psi of boost, a highly effective air-to-air intercooler, and a dedicated 8-rib drive, the Stage II System or Tuner Kit can add 220 or more HP to an otherwise stock Boss 302 running high quality pump gas.

    Stage II System

    The Stage II System and Tuner Kit can be installed onto a completely stock engine requiring absolutely no cutting or trimming of factory components and like the majority of ProCharger Systems, fit under the stock hood.

    ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Systems and Tuner Kits

    When compared to the HO System components, the new Stage II System and Tuner Kit utilize a larger, front mounted intercooler, fabricated coolant tank, specially-designed radiator fan shroud assembly and a larger air filter. Installation of the Stage II components requires minor trimming to the inside of the stock lower front bumper cover (factory engine cover does not require modification or trimming). A 12-rib supercharger drive is also available with the Tuner Kit.

    The Intercooled Stage II Tuner Kit is identical to the complete system, but omits fuel injectors and computer programming. Higher boost and power levels are available for modified engines.

    For the 2011+ 5.0L Mustang, the animation below illustrates (3) different intercooler options in the form of the HO intercooler system, Stage 2, and Race. The HO intercooler features a highly efficient crossflow intercooler core for stock or slightly modified applications. Our Stage 2 offering swaps to a large side to side flow core that is 3.5" thick offering great flow for modified applications pushing the power levels. For those going for the ultimate in charge cooling, the Race Intercooler with 4.5" thick core can be ordered that features a MASSIVE 1296 cubic/inch Cooling Core! As you can see all (3) intercoolers fit behind the factory 5mph impact bumper, and no modification to the car is needed for installation.
