ProCharger is proud to add another Jeep® product to our industry-leading truck/suv lineup– a complete air-to-air intercooled supercharger system for the 2012-18 Jeep Wrangler JK equipped with the 3.6L engine (3.8L coming soon). The HO Intercooled System features a shared-drive design for the P-1SC-1 supercharger, and comes standard with the industry’s largest and most effective air-to-air intercooler for the Jeep Wrangler JK. These new systems produce a reliable 50%+ horsepower gain with just 7 psi, on otherwise stock 3.6L engines running pump gas. This puts a ProCharger equipped Jeep JK into the power territory of the JK's that are getting Hemi and LS engine conversions, for much less money and far less time involved. We recently completed an LS engine conversion at Brute Speed on a Jeep JK, it's expensive and time consuming! A ProCharger equipped Jeep JK can easily be taken back to stock should you ever want to sell your Jeep and keep the ProCharger system.

ProCharger Jeep Wrangler JK System Advantages:

    Cooler Power
ProCharger was the first to offer intercooled supercharger systems for trucks and SUV’s, nearly 5 years before others. With industry leading experience and technology, ProCharger produces the coolest charge air temperatures and largest power gains. From the dyno to the street, on and off road, ProCharger’s engineering and R&D teams go to great lengths to ensure your supercharged and intercooled American made truck/SUV is everything you expect and more.

     Unmatched Quality & Warranty Coverage

ProCharger provides the best warranty protection and now many ProCharger systems are also eligible for optional extended powertrain coverage up to 5 years / 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first). ProCharger is the only forced induction company which offers both a 3 year extended warranty option for the supercharger alone, as well as a powertrain and supercharger warranty option for up to 5 years / 100K miles. Because ProCharger designs and manufactures all of its superchargers (unlike many competitors), more choices for warranty coverage can be offered.

    100% Complete Systems
ProCharger Supercharger Systems are 100 percent complete – nothing else to purchase. ProCharger’s intercooled supercharger systems come with all the components needed for an attractive, OEM-quality installation. Install it yourself or have your ProCharger dealer install it for you. The choice is yours.

    Resources, Experience and Service Excellence
All ProCharger Supercharger Systems are engineered in-house and then dyno and field-tested by a dedicated team of engineers and technicians on the industry’s largest R&D fleet. This diligence results in the most advanced, engine-safe and durable supercharger systems on the market. With nearly 20 years of performance leadership, world-class engineering and manufacturing, and the best technical and customer service teams in the industry, the choice is clear: ProCharger.

    Strongest Dealer Network
ProCharger has the largest network of independent dealers across North America and around the world that specialize in installing and fine-tuning your supercharger system. And just like the supercharger systems they install, ProCharger dealers are the best in the business when it comes to helping you realize your performance goals and aspirations.

    Fuel-Mileage Friendly
Beyond industry leading power, centrifugal forced induction is also the most fuel efficient form of high performance, with owners frequently reporting improved fuel economy or minimal impact under normal operating conditions.

“I knew the performance increase would be extremely impressive, but was surprised by the 2-3 mpg increase in fuel economy with my Hummer H2.” - Bill R.

“Before the truck was supercharged, I’d average 14.3 mpg for the 2,500 mile round trip. With the truck supercharged, my fuel mileage for the same trip was right at 14 mpg. The ProCharger supercharger has turned my F-150 into the truck I would have preferred from the beginning. It is very drivable and the extra power and torque make the truck much easier and a lot more fun to drive, especially when towing.” - Dell H.

Hunter M. reports that his 2001 GMC Sierra with 125,000 miles went from 10/18 mpg to 11 mpg city and 22 mpg highway, despite his “heavy foot” and 500 RWHP.

“The ProCharger helped more than compensate for the oversized tires on my 4WD Ram, and fuel economy is virtually unchanged.” - Beverly P.

Craven Performance & Off-Road reported 32 mpg at 75 mph on their 2006 Z06, which produces 1,014 RWHP with 19 psi and 93 octane pump gas.

ProCharger’s own 2009 F-150 has also been used for extended towing duties to national events. For example, towing an 18 foot enclosed trailer heavily loaded with supercharged Harley’s and display material, this truck regularly records 13 mpg and thanks to 425 intercooled RWHP, handles the trailer with ease. Not towing, the supercharged 5.4L consistently records 22 mpg on the highway.

The Most Power and Best Performance
Intercooled ProCharger systems deliver the ultimate performance and power increase for towing, daily driving and sport truck applications. Compared to all bolt-on aftermarket superchargers, ATI's superior technology delivers more low-end torque and substantially more total power than any other supercharger system. In the lower rpm towing range, Intercooled ProCharger systems will deliver more rear-wheel torque because the intercooled charge air is extremely dense (virtually at ambient temperature), the engine is running full timing, and the P-1SC consumes far less power than positive displacement superchargers. At mid-range and higher rpm, in addition to making more power per pound of boost (due to the same combination of greater air density, full timing and less parasitic load), an Intercooled ProCharger system is also able to safely produce more total boost, thanks to the coolest charge air and exhaust gas temperatures in the industry. The net effect is a substantially larger increase in air density, which in turn produces a substantially larger increase in power. History and physics show that applications without intercooling must run unsafe boost levels or octane-boosted fuel to perform even close to an Intercooled ProCharger system.

Superior Efficiency and Fuel Economy Intercooled ProCharger supercharger systems enable your truck or sport utility to deliver unparalleled performance without sacrificing daily drivability or gas mileage. In fact, unlike inefficient positive displacement superchargers, in most towing applications your gas mileage may actually increase slightly thanks to the superior efficiency of the P-1SC ProCharger. Stock or modified, for towing, daily driving, or racing, Intercooled ProCharger systems deliver far more performance with far greater engine reliability than any other supercharger system or power adder such as nitrous oxide.

The Best Engine Reliability and Drivability
ATI introduced the industry's first intercooled supercharger system nearly 3 years before its nearest competitor, and is the only company that offers air-to-air intercooled supercharger systems for trucks and SUV's. Other companies' non-intercooled and air-to water supercharger systems are typically tuned at the edge of detonation, which leaves you little margin for error. However, because air-to air intercooling removes the heat which causes detonation, you can safely run far more engine-friendly intercooled boost with full timing and complete peace of mind. With air-to-air intercooling, there is no need for "band aids" such as ignition retard, over-rich or auxiliary fuel injectors, or water injection. There is also no need to buy exhaust gas temperature (EGT) gauges because intercooling means that exhaust and overall engine temperatures remain stable even during extreme towing, racing and/or summer heat conditions. The intercooler system, which is standard equipment, simply rejects far more heat than it will receive from the highly efficient P-1SC ProCharger. Intercooling is clearly the fundamental solution for reliable high performance, because it substantially improves both engine reliability and power output. That is why intercooled forced induction is the high performance technology of choice for millions of factory OEM vehicles worldwide.

With the engine built to be blown, our low-compression 540 made 507 hp at 4,800 rpm and 606 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. Fully intercooled and boost set on kill, those numbers jumped to 913 hp at 5,800 rpm, with 903 lb-ft of torque at 4,800. The difference with the ATI ProCharger is huge, to say the least. Those numbers represent an increase of a solid 80 percent in horsepower and 49 percent in torque. That’s a ridiculous increase that would make your “seat of the pants” feel like a NASA space shutte launch!

“When put into the [supercharger] system, an intercooler brings the air temp back down, thus increasing its density and removing the need to retard the timing. Reliable power gains go from 25-45 percent with a supercharger alone to 60-75* percent with an intercooler.”

“Any time that you compress air, like with a supercharger, that creates heat, and heat is the enemy of horsepower. An air-to-air intercooler takes that hot blast of air and cools it down. This [Intercooled ProCharger system] will give you a 65% increase in power [with 8.5 psi]. That’s more than any other supercharger on the market.”

"Compressed air gets hot, but diverting it through the intercooler cools it down before it gets to the throttle-body."

"A [chassis] dyno run demonstrated a maximum of 377.8 rwhp and 357.9 lb-ft of torque." (66% power gain, stock '02 5.3L Tahoe)

“These intercooled ProCharger systems provide reliable 60-90 percent gains* in horsepower and torque on pump gas, with significantly better engine reliability than is possible when supercharging without an intercooler.”

"The mildly modded 5.4 (2004 3V) received a ProCharger P-1SC centrifugal supercharger along with its air-to-air intercooler. The GMS crew reflashed the computer with Superchips Custom Tuning software, and the 5.4-liter SOHC motor now makes 420 rwhp and 410 lb-ft of torque."

“The driveability of the system was tested when we loaded down the truck with a 7,000-pound boat and trailer and a bed full of weekend boating gear, and traveled a couple of hundred miles over hilly highway toward The Lake of the Ozarks in humid 85-degree weather. Even under boost conditions, as the truck effortlessly pulled the weight up long hills for long periods of time, the engine’s coolant temperature never surpassed normal operating temperatures.” “Because of the extraordinary efficiency of both the ProCharger and intercooler systems, intercooled ProCharger systems feature the coolest intake temperature of any supercharger.”

“Intercooled supercharging results in less stress on engine parts, lower engine temperatures, and better fuel mileage.”

By using an air-to-air system, more boost can be applied to the motor without fear of detonation or the need for added fuel enrichment systems or ignition retarding.”

“In addition to denser air and full ignition timing, there is considerably less parasitic loss...”

“What cuts down on a charger’s efficiency is a byproduct of compressing air - heat. When the air is compressed, it gets hotter. And the hotter it gets the less dense it becomes. You will still see power gains but the ignition timing has to be pulled back about 1 degree per pound of boost to keep the engine from detonating or pinging.”

“The intercooler (like a radiator for the air) brings the temp back down to around 20 degrees above the outside air temp.”

“That’s a 2.33-second gain in the quarter-mile [with a stock 5.7 TBI] on pump fuel without sacrificing any driveability.”
