Product Description:

A Panhard rod is a suspension link that both locates the lateral position of the rear axle

housing and controls its side-to-side movement. Factory F-Body Panhard rods are

made from weak U-shaped-stamped steel with soft, rubber bushings that allow

excessive deflection under load. BMR Suspension’s PHR003 Panhard rod is made from

1.25-inch diameter, 0.120” wall DOM tubing and TIG-welded chrome-moly tube

adapters. The PHR003 features zinc-plated, X-series, heat-treated chrome-moly, self-

lubricating, Teflon-lined rod ends. It also features 304 stainless steel, custom-designed

rod end spacers.

BMR Suspension designed the PHR003 to work well for street performance, drag race,

and road race applications. Other Panhard rods include rubber or polyurethane

bushings that will deflect under heavy loads. The heavy-duty construction of the

PHR003 eliminates Panhard rod deflection, giving you much-improved repeatable

handling characteristics on the street, starting line, and corners. The heavy-duty rod

ends are designed to solidly connect the rear axle housing to the body and completely

eliminate deflection. The rod ends allow on-car double-adjustability required for fine-

tuning your set-up and provide bind-free suspension articulation needed for superior

handling. The all-steel design will increase NVH, so the PHR003 is not intended for

everyone. However, this is the perfect Panhard rod for the enthusiast that requires

BMR Suspension’s PHR003 on-car, double-adjustable Panhard rod is available in black

hammertone and red powdercoat for long-lasting good looks. Installation time is about 1

BMR Suspension offers several Panhard rod options for Third- and Fourth- Gen F-body

vehicles. The PHR001 is a non-adjustable Panhard rod with polyurethane bushings on

both sides. This product is recommended when low cost is the primary consideration.

The PHR002 is on-car adjustable and includes polyurethane bushings on both sides.

This product is the most popular F-body Panhard rod. The PHR003 is double-adjustable

and includes rod ends on both sides. This product is recommended for maximum

performance. The PHR010 is on-car adjustable and includes a polyurethane bushing on

one side and a rod end on the other side. This product is a good compromise between

the PHR002 and the PHR003. The PHR001, PHR002, and PHR003 are all available in

a lightweight, chrome-moly versions (MPHR001, MPHR002, MPHR003).
