For strip or street, our 4-inch DOM (drawn over mandrel) aluminum shaft is ideal for high horsepower and high-performance applications. Consistent strength is assured by using 6061-T6 tubing with a .120 wall. Plus, we maximize durability by including 1350-Series "Gold" solid U-joints.

Our customers appreciate that this driveshaft is built to stringent industry specs.

• Hydraulically straightened tubing built to a .010" total turnout at the center
• Tube yokes welded to within a .006" runout on each end
• Shafts are computer balanced to less than a 1/8 ounce/inch variance as an assembly

In most cases, we recommend this 4-inch shaft for applications up to 2,000 horsepower, or extra-long shafts. For less demanding uses up to 1,200 horsepower, consider our 3.5-inch .120 wall aluminum driveshaft.

PST 27 Spline Forged Chromoly Slip Yoke (Bushing) is installed. The standard T56 and 4L60E are 27 spline.  Optional Slip Yokes are below.

The 27 spline is also used on the Powerglide, TH200 4R, TH350, 4L60, TH700 R4, Muncie M20 / M21 / M22 and Super T-10 (1st design) and will require measuring for the "x" dimension as shown below. Email bob@brutespeed.com with dimension
